Camp Out: A Documentary About Being Gay & Christian

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum; feel free to move it if so, Jason.

I found this documentary on LOGO's website that I watched last night and thought was really enjoyable. It's about a group of teenagers who go to an LGBT Christian camp in order come to terms with being gay and Christian. It's pretty sweet, moving and often sad to hear them all talk about their relationships/experiences with God and the Church. I thought the religious folks here would like it, as well as anyone else who wants to learn a little about gay Christians (I'm non-religious and I loved it). I can see it being helpful and encouraging for people who might be struggling to find a balance between their sexuality and their religion.

This totally made my day! Thanks for giving the link to this ElectricKoolaid! I'm a non-religious person too, and this was still such a wonderful thing to watch. I kinda wished we could have heard a little more from the lesser-discussed of the campers, but I understand that there may be consent or video-tech constraints involved.

It's interesting to hear their experiences, and I enjoyed seeing the camaraderie that came in the end. I hope they've able to take that openness and compassion with them. :)

Glad you liked it as much as I did! I would've liked to have heard from the other campers too. Also would love a follow-up video, even just a few minutes long, about what they're up to now. I loved seeing all their friendships develop and it'd be neat to hear about whether they're all still in touch.
