My right ankle is acting up >< Idk if I sprained it in my sleep (how the hell would I do that and sleep through it?) or if my sprain 2 years ago did more lasting damage than I thought and its acting cuz of the oncoming storm... It hasn't acted up like this before and feels like a sprain, but its not swollen at all and I didn't feel anything last night...
I just hate being achey and limpy :( Takes me like twice as long to get around campus D:

School not closing even though it's ridiculous out, and getting worse. I'm staying home, but I'll bet it counts as an absence.

And also, my dad and brother have been watching Pineapple Express since midnight last night (alright, they watched it at midnight and now my dad is watching the special features)...god, stoned person laughter makes me want to punch things.

Oh, actually just got a call from my sculpture instructor saying campus is closing at noon. Yay!

Had a surreal conversation with some 15 year old boy on Omegle. He asked something about sex, I told him I didn't date guys because I was gay. Literally for the next hour (why did I even stay connected?!) he proceeded to make up a bunch of scenarios to try and turn me straight or something. "But like what if I was there and I started [insert name of dirty act]?? Wouldn't you like it?? How can you not enjoy being with a guy even just a little bit?!"

It didn't really fill me with seething rage or anything crazy, it just made me kind of irked. Plus, I'm worried: is this a widespread attitude? Like, do a lot of teenage boys think they can turn a lesbian straight? It didn't even seem like he was just innocently curious, his line of questioning was downright aggressive and weird. It was like he didn't believe me. I really hope it was just this one kid being a tool.

Reading the locked thread about the "anti-poly" relationship discussion board in the "comments & questions" board.

Well it didn't piss me off, per se. But it did upset me in a few ways; depress/disappoint, more like. That someone left because of it, that it's locked so no one can post in it the thread discussing it, offering any new viewpoints (although probably a smart move, preventing any kinds of flame wars too). I agree with Jason that it's his forum, but agree with Notorious because... well... forums aren't necessarily for the creators, are they? They're for other people to find support... :-\

I admit I felt a little taken aback by the reasons why the relationship board is reserved for mono relationships, but since I don't feel I personally need advice in that area I didn't bother messing with it, even if I have been in a poly relationship. "Not my problem" kind of deal? But I do have to agree it's another kind of discrimination... Being on a board that says "straight relationship discussion only" feels a little bad, doesn't it?

Ehh. I'm not trying to bring up the whole issue again, I don't want to start a fight. It disappointed me more than it pissed me off, so, I mean, no hard feelings. I'm not gonna leave, and I'm not gonna try and convince anyone to change it or their opinions (unless they want some other perspective of course)... but I think inherently targeting a group of people to *not* post somewhere does take away a bit of the friendly, open atmosphere of the forum. A "No gays here" mentality isn't very far from a "no polys here" one. It's not like there's a massive amount of poly relationships out there, anyway... Just sayin'. I'd be happy to *discuss* it, but not get into some kind of shouting match over it. Those only lead to bleeding ears.


...Also, the bible study group of girls next to me today. They actually pissed me off, not cause it was bible study, but 'cause they were LOOOOOUD. And shrill. u.u;

Agreed. I'm also sad that Notorious left but honestly, he kind of had every right to. Again, it's Jason's forum and it's wonderful the way it is, and there's no reason for anybody to force him into making it friendly towards people he doesn't want posting here, but it does seem hypocritical. I can understand a policy of not allowing posts that could insult peoples' beliefs or hurt their feelings, but the poly issue seems a little too much like "It's not allowed because I think it's icky." Again, not like it's a deal-breaker for me and I don't want to raise a stink, but yeah, a little disappointing.

Yeaah. It definitely brought me down, but not as much as what happened afterwards...

Like NOBODY replying to my texts about going to dinner, and nobody GOING to dinner, and then slipping and scraping my knee on the way to listen to rehearsal, and then NOT going to dinner, and driving around college park for an HOUR waiting on the fiancee...

that *actually* pissed me off.

But it's been remedied by watching a favorite episode of Ed Edd n Eddy... the one with the big city <3
