Betty White to Host SNL?

Not sure if this falls under Media or News/Current Events, but has anybody been following the Facebook movement to get Betty White to host an episode of Saturday Night Live? I think it's terrific that so many people (and of a younger generation!) are rallying for her.

I love Betty! At 88, she is more active than many people I've seen who are my own age. She's also incredibly funny and filthy (ever see her skits on Craig Ferguson?). SNL has been faltering for years, but I think Betty could help bring some humor back into it...for that week, anyway.

As a general rule, I'm not a huge fan of old people, but I love Betty White!

The old people who smell like wonky soap are an improvement over the ones who simply don't bathe at all x.x I loved my late grandma to death (no morbid pun intended) but she smelled terrible D:

I hope she does host, that'd be pretty cool. I wouldn't call myself a fan of hers by any means (simply because I don't know anything about her, not because I dislike her) but I'm all for older women getting work in mainstream media. Plus she has fans young and old so I imagine it would be a nice boost to SNL's ratings to get some baby-boomer viewership in addition to their regular college-age/young adult demographic.

And yes, old people do indeed smell funny. My Grandma smells like horrible cheap perfume, and corn chips.
