Seriously, though, that is a good idea if we ever need a little extra "personal security". The only question is which forums in which that would be a good idea to implement.

To reiterate what I said in my other post: what about creating a new forum specifically for private things?

I second the bump.

Making a private forum that is hidden from non-members would be a good idea.
It would probably also be good to keep in mind the option of making any other existing forums private assuming the need arises. Sounds like a good compromise to me.
